About BorInfoBorinfo is based in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, the heart of Canada's underground mining industry. Our company benefits from association with the concentration of mining expertise nearby. To complement service to survey customers who need better 3-D understanding of underground structures, we are agents for 2iC Australia Pty. Ltd.
In 1992 we started operations with a single Maxibor instrument, a tool particularly effective for surveying diamond drill holes with flat, inclined or upward trajectories. We still operate 4 of these tools as well as numerous other magnetic, square rod and gyroscopic systems. Our current fleet of tools meets most customers' needs, and as survey technology continues to unfold, Borinfo will improve services to our customers.
Borinfo presently has 5 technically trained operators capable of delivering professional survey or training services from our base in Sudbury. Together they have over 100 years of expertise in exploration geology, mine geology, mining operations, and electronics.
Borinfo is an incorporated company owned and operated by Roy J. Rupert and Morna Rupert. Roy graduated from Queen's and McGill Universities with degrees in Geological Engineering and Mineral Exploration. He has over 40 years of widely varied experience in the mining industry. | ![]() ![]() | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
