Borinfo was the first contract service provider in North America to use Reflex MaxiborTM instruments, and we continue to operate these precise optical survey tools as a specialty. Procedures and accessories developed by Borinfo ensure that these tools perform to manufacturer's specifications. Maxibors have a niche for timely low-cost surveying in the presence of magnetic rock or steel installations, in underground mines, in flat or inclined drill holes, inside drill rods, in high magnetic latitudes or in frozen ground. We pride ourselves on knowing how to operate this equipment effectively and accurately, and on knowing when to advise customers to consider other methods.

Borinfo provides service with multishot magnetic survey tools in environments where they provide the best quality surveys. For example, in steep holes with moderate magnetic interference, magnetic surveys are often the best choice. Our magnetic tools are modern electronic units with detailed quality control data in the output. They offer customers the best possible combination of speed, accuracy, anomaly discrimination, tool cost and rig cost. Unlike older equipment like Sperry Sun multishot tools, there is no film processing.

Borinfo also offers a Boretrak rod system which is ideal for surveys of steep blast holes, freeze holes or grout holes.

Borinfo's contract services are designed to the specific needs of our customers. Every borehole is unique. Borinfo maintains a selection of surveying instruments from different manufacturers because there is no "right answer" for the best survey method in all boreholes. Service is tailored to the customer's needs, not the equipment of one supplier. Data output is tailored to your software requirements.
